Patrick Sullivan

A 28 year veteran of the futures industry, Patrick Sullivan is the President of Great Lakes Trading Company, Inc., a position he has held since 1994.  Patrick’s career has provided him with a wide range of commodity industry experience, having spent time on the trading floors at the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and throughout the United States on farms and ranches where he gained hands on experience in Livestock, Dairy & Crop production.

A student of the markets, Patrick has given futures markets and marketing seminars throughout Indiana , as well as Central America and dairy seminars at Clemson University South Carolina.  Having developed his own proprietary price probability tools, Patrick has provided market consulting to a wide array of clients ranging from producers and processors, to corporations and institutions managing inherent price risk, to clients diversifying their financial portfolios with managed futures as well as speculative participants seeking opportunity through their own trading methods.

Patrick graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Animal Science.  In his spare time, Patrick spends time with his wife and four children playing sports and enjoying the great outdoors.  He is an accomplished musician, playing piano and organ, as well as playing violin for the Symphony of the Lakes in Warsaw, Indiana.
